Gay Pot-Luck

Gay Pot-Luck

Over fifteen years ago, a University of British Columbia gay student group held a weekend retreat at my home. There followed a pot-luck reunion of that group.

The pot-luck evolved into the quarterly Ty Mynydd (Welsh for house on mountain) pot-luck for gay, bi, or curious men. The last pot-luck was held on January 30, 2016.

Men brought one dish of something they enjoyed cooking (or find at a delicatessen), a bottle of wine if they wished, and shareed. Attendance ranged from 6 to 60 (averaging 40 of late), and ages from 18 to 80.

The pot-lucks were held in my log house on a mountain outside Victoria on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
